What to report
Send the RepairGauge URL, the exact statement or number you believe is inaccurate, and the strongest current source you have. Reports can cover visible text, titles, meta descriptions, structured data, image alt text, calculations or source links.
Evidence standard
For cost data, RepairGauge prefers current published sources with enough context to understand the repair type, unit and scope. A contractor's local quote can be useful context but does not automatically replace a national source range.
How changes are handled
Material factual errors are corrected when reliable evidence supports the change. If the source set or methodology changes materially, the associated source-check date is updated. Cosmetic edits do not receive a fake freshness date.
