Use RepairGauge as a planning and comparison tool.

1. What RepairGauge provides
RepairGauge provides educational home-repair cost ranges, calculators, source-linked guides, a browser-side quote clarity checker and an optional provider-matching request. The public tools are free to use.
2. No professional diagnosis or emergency service
RepairGauge is not a contractor, engineer, building inspector, restoration professional, insurer, public adjuster, lawyer or emergency service. Calculator output and editorial content do not diagnose structural movement, contamination, mold, electrical hazards or other site conditions. For urgent flooding, sewage, electrical danger, fire, structural instability or other safety risks, contact appropriate emergency or qualified local services.
3. Estimates are not bids
Published ranges are planning references assembled from identified public sources and user-entered quantities. A real contractor quote may differ because of labor, access, hidden damage, local code, engineering, materials, permits, soil, equipment, restoration, insurance requirements and other factors. RepairGauge does not guarantee that a contractor will quote or perform work within a displayed range.
4. Quote Checker
The Quote Checker evaluates whether certain comparison details appear in pasted text. It does not determine whether a contract is lawful, fair, complete, enforceable or technically correct. The pasted quote text stays in the browser unless you separately submit limited quote-price data.
5. Provider matching
Submitting a match request does not obligate RepairGauge to find a provider and does not obligate you to hire anyone. RepairGauge may identify one or more possible service providers, but your contact details will not be shared until you approve a specific introduction.
Providers are independent businesses. RepairGauge is not a party to the later repair contract and does not control the provider's licensing, insurance, pricing, scheduling, workmanship, warranties or communications. Before hiring, you should independently verify the provider's identity, license where required, insurance, written scope, permits, contract terms and references appropriate to the work.
6. Commercial relationships
RepairGauge may receive compensation from a provider when an approved introduction results in business. Payment cannot buy a higher calculator range, altered source data, a favorable editorial conclusion or automatic access to homeowner details.
7. Your submissions
You agree to provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and to submit personal/contact information only when you are authorized to do so. Do not submit passwords, payment-card information, government IDs, medical data, detailed insurance claim numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information.
8. Acceptable use
You may not abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass rate limits, probe private systems, submit malicious payloads, automate high-volume form submissions, scrape personal submission data, interfere with site operation or use RepairGauge to facilitate unlawful activity.
9. Sources and external links
Third-party sources are linked for research and verification. Their inclusion does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Third-party content can change, and RepairGauge may update a range when newer evidence materially changes the reference.
10. Intellectual property
RepairGauge branding, original site design, original editorial text, calculator presentation and proprietary compilation are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. You may cite factual ranges with attribution and a link. You may not copy or republish substantial original site content as your own competing product.
11. Availability and changes
RepairGauge may change, suspend or discontinue features, correct errors, block abuse or update these terms. Material legal/privacy changes will be reflected by an updated date.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RepairGauge is not liable for decisions made solely from an estimate, third-party provider conduct, contractor workmanship, indirect or consequential loss, or the unavailability of a provider. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany to the extent permitted by mandatory law. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights that applicable law gives them in their country or state.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through Contact or to imodelly.agency@gmail.com. Operator details are available in the Legal notice / Impressum.
