Source standard
Every material price claim on a money page should trace to a current public source or to clearly labeled reviewed RepairGauge quote data. We prefer measurable unit pricing over vague national averages.
One source of truth
Calculators, the Cost Index and core guide summaries read from one reviewed pricing dataset so the same line item does not silently drift across different pages.
No scaled AI publishing
Automation may assist research, calculations and maintenance, but RepairGauge does not mass-publish unreviewed AI articles, keyword-swapped templates, doorway pages or thousands of thin city pages.
No invented authority
We do not invent named experts, reviewer credentials, customer testimonials, local quote samples or proprietary statistics. When a real professional reviews content, the reviewer and review date should be identifiable.
Local claims require local evidence
State and ZIP do not alter pricing merely because a visitor enters them. Local cost pages or adjustments require a defensible sample, transparent methodology and meaningful information that differs from the national page.
Distinct user value
A new page must add something useful: a calculator, direct data, a unique scope explanation, decision framework, quote-comparison guidance or other information that is not simply a keyword variation of an existing page.
Commercial relationships
A contractor, lead buyer or affiliate relationship cannot pay to alter calculator output, source selection, a cost-guide range or an editorial conclusion.
